ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To discuss nursing department′s function in preventing hospital infection management in order to improve its level. METHODS Nursing department actively works with hospital infection management department to establish organization,consummate system,carry out measure,regulate nursing technique operation procedure and nurse conduct norm,and train the nursing staff. RESULTS The rate of hospital infection has been descended gradually from 2.29% in 2000 to 1.01% in 2005. CONCLUSIONS Nursing department is performing important function in preventing hospital infection management work.
