ABSTRACT
Objective:
To prepare a new multiple emulsion type gel of paeonol.Methods:
Span 80 and Triethanolamine were used as emulsifiers of the multiple emulsion, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC Na) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA 124) were substrates of mixed hydrophilic gel.Results:
The multiple emulsion type gelprepared possessed the merits of high concentration of drug, uneasily volatilizating, persistentation and good film forming.Conclusion:
The multiple emulsion type gel of paeonel has the sustained release action.
