Progress in the mechanism of enteral nutrition in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease in children / 中国小儿急救医学

ABSTRACT

Inflammatory bowel disease( IBD) is a group of chronic intestinal inflammation,including ulcerative colitis,Crohn′s disease and indeterminate colitis. Although its progress has been made in medicine, the etiology is still unclear. There are many side effcts of traditional drug therapy in inhibiting inflammation. Enteral nutrition( EN) is an important method in the treatment of IBD in children. The therapeutic effect of EN has been widely accepted,but its mechanism has not been completely clarified. Therefore,this article re-views the mechanism of EN in the treatment of IBD in children,especially the mechanism of special EN prep-arations.
