ABSTRACT
Prostate cancer is one of the most common malignancies in the male genitourinary system, and its incidence is increasing, which seriously threatens the health of men.MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are an endogenous, non-coding, single-stranded RNA consisting of 21to 25nucleotides that act on the mRNA of a target gene to regulate the entire metabolic process of the cell, such as metastasis, invasion, inflammation, cell cycle and apoptosis. At present, miRNAs have become one of the most popular research areas in biomedicine for the regulation and function of prostate cancer and other tumor diseases. This article discusses the latest advances in the role of abnormal expression of miRNAs in prostate cancer and provides theoretical basis and ideas for further research.
