AHI was reduced from 62.93 +/- 9.21 preoperatively to 55.42 +/- 13.77 postoperatively in 6 patients with severe OSAHS and the effective ratio was 16.7%.@*CONCLUSION@#The pillar implant system had a significant effect on mild to moderate OSAHS patients.
