Simultaneous determination of piperine and piperlonguminine in Mongolian medicine Tonglaga-5 by HPLC / 国际药学研究杂志

ABSTRACT

Objective To establish a method for simultaneous determination of pipeline and piperlonguminine n Mongolian medicine Tonglaga-5 by HPLC. Methods The Chromatographie separation was carried out at room emperature on a C18 ODS Hypersil Thermo Dim column (250 mm ×4. 6 mm,5 μm) using acetonitrile and water(50 50) as he mobile phase. The flow rate was 1 ml/ min and he injection volume was 20 μl. The analytes were detected at 230 nm. Results The calibration curves showed good linearity n he concentration ranges of pipeline 4-80 μg/ml (r = 0. 9992) and piperlonguminine 0. 25 - 12. 5 μ,g/ml (r = 0. 999), respectivey. The average recoveries of pipeline and piperlonguminine were 99. 6% and 98. 5% Conclusion The method s simple, accurate and can be used for the quality control of Tonglaga-5.
