ABSTRACT
Objective:
To establish a method for determing the content of baicalin in Coptis decoction for detoxification. Methods:
Baicalin as standard sample, a dual-wavelength UV spectrophotometric method was used to determine the baicalin content in coptis decoction for detoxification. The wavelengths for measurement and reference were 289 nm and 353 nm, respectively. Results:
The linearity between concentration and absorbance of baicalin as standard was ranged from 6 to 18.0 μg/ml, the correlativity 0.999 6, the RSD 0.67%(intraday) or 1.11% (interday) , and the recovery 101.24%, respectively. Conclusion:
The method is simple, rapid and accurate, and has potential application to the content determination of baicalin in Coptis decoction for detoxification.
