ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the characteristics of DNA direct amplification of length polymorphisms (DALP) from wild ginsengs under forest and cultivated Panax ginseng.METHODS:
The CTAB method was modified to extract genomic DNA from wild ginsengs under forest and cultivated Panax ginseng. Six random primers were designed, and DALP system was optimized for PCR amplification.RESULTS:
Genomic DNAs of 19Kb were extracted by CTAB method from all the samples, and their purity was calculated to be (1.80±0.23). DALP fingerprints of wild ginsengs under forest and cultivated Panax ginseng were obtained.CONCLUSION:
The DALP fringerprint of wild ginsengs under forest has a specific characteristics, and can be used to identify wild ginsengs under forest and cultivated Panax ginseng.
