ABSTRACT

With the aging of the population, the number of patients suffering from diabetes and gastric cancer in the world is increasing year by year, and the number of diabetes patients suffering from tumors is also increasing. Studies have shown that metformin can not only lower the blood sugar of diabetic patients, but also affect the risk of gastric cancer and the prognosis of gastric cancer in diabetic patients. In this article, we reviewed the related research on the effect of metformin on gastric cancer in patients with type 2 diabetes through related literature search.
