ABSTRACT

Down′s syndrome(DS), also known as Trisomy 21 syndrome, is associated with a variety of blood system diseases, including transient blood cell count abnormalities in newborns, transient myeloproliferative diseases, and acute and chronic leukemia.In this article, the pathogenesis of blood system abnormalities in children with DS was reviewed, and research progress in children with DS and acute lymphoblastic leukemia was summarized from the aspects of clinical and biological characteristics, treatment and prognosis.
