RESUMO

Escrito como homenagem por ocasião do centenário da 1ª edição de O espírito da utopia (1918) de Ernst Bloch (1885-1977), o texto relembra o conteúdo da obra e o significado da utopia na modernidade; e ao fazer referência à Tese 9 sobre a História, de Walter Benjamin(1892-1940), alude aos clamores que, em nossos dias, testemunham a sobrevivência do espírito utópico.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Written as an homage at the occasion of the centenary of the first edition of The spirit of utopia (1918) of Ernst Bloch (1885-1977), the text remember the content of the work and the significance of utopia in the modern age; and by making reference to the Thesis 9 on History, of Walter Benjamin (1892-1940), alludes to the claims that, in our days, testify the survival ot the utopic spirit.(AU)
