RESUMEN

El Ministerio de Salud, a través del Programa Nacional de Tuberculosis y Enfermedades Respiratorias (PNTYER), para dar respuesta al Modelo de atención integral en salud con enfoque familiar y comunitario, emite la tercera edición de los Lineamientos técnicos para la prevención y control de la tuberculosis, que permite actualizar su contenido, contribuyendo de esa manera al desarrollo de las acciones integrales de forma transversal a través de las RIIS, de manera que faciliten la búsqueda, diagnóstico, tratamiento y seguimiento de casos de tuberculosis (TB), para ser aplicados por el personal de salud, tanto público como privado, buscando el diagnóstico precoz, aplicando nueva tecnología, así como, la adaptación de esquemas de tratamiento para la TB sensible y resistente, establecidas en las Directrices unificadas de la OMS sobre el tratamiento de la tuberculosis fármacorresistente

ABSTRACT
