Teoría del movimiento-tiempo: una nueva teoría para comprender el proceso de envejecer / Movement-Time Theory: A new theory to understand the aging process

RESUMEN

Se realiza una breve descripción de los sistemas teóricos clásicos (estocásticos y no estocásticos) que estudian el envejecimiento, para luego proponer una teoría nueva basada en la integración de aspectos de ambos grupos teóricos. A esta nueva teoría se la denomina teoría del movimiento tiempo. Se propone una nueva definición de envejecimiento y, desde ella, respuestas a las preguntas qué es envejecer, cuándo se comienza a envejecer, y cómo se envejece.

ABSTRACT

In this article, first we make a brief description of the classic theoretical systems (stochastic and non- stochastic) that study aging. After that we propose a new theory based on the integration of aspects of both systems. This new theory is called Time-Movement Theory. A new definition of aging is proposed and, from there, we answer the questions what is aging, when it begins, and how do we age.
