Nuevos materiales restauradores con liberación de flúor en manejo rehabilitador en odontopediatria / New restorative materials with fluoride release in rehabilitation management inpediatric dentistry

RESUMEN

La presencia de alteraciones en la estructura dentaria en niños, acompañando o desencadenando lesiones cariosas más extensas, es una de las principales preocupaciones de los padres al momento de llevar a sus niños a la consulta odontológica. Siendo la hipoplasia e hipo mineralización algunas de las alteraciones más frecuentes observadas respecto a lacalidad de estructura dentaria, que por su presentación, a veces, tan aparatosa en el sector anterior, causa preocupacióna los padres al momento de llevarlos al odontólogo. El objetivo de este reporte es mostrar como alternativa el uso de laresina beautifil II de Shofu con tecnología SPR-G, para no sólo lograr un tratamiento restaurador mínimamente invasivo,sino también que sea estético y que por sus propiedades de liberar y absorber flúor pueda tener un efecto remineralizante.

ABSTRACT

The presence of structural dental disorders in children, accompanying or causing more extensive dental wounds, is oneof the main current worries in parents when it comes to their children’s first odontological visit. Hypoplasia and the lack of minerals in their teeth are some of the most observed disorders in regards to the quality of their dental structure, whoseappearance, sometimes so profusely in the anterior section, concerns the parents in the moment of the dental visit. The objective of this report is to introduce the alternative of the resin beautifil II of shofu with SPR-G technology , not only toget a recovering treatment as less invasive as possible ( or minimally invasive) but also for an esthetic result and an mineralisingeffect due to its Fluor releasing and absorbing properties.
