Considerações sobre anestesia venosa total e balanceada / Considerations on total and balanced venous anesthesia

Este artigo se propõe a uma revisão sobre o tema anestesia venosa, uma técnica anestésica muito difundida há vários anos, e faz menção principal aos modelos farmacocinéticos em anestesia e à técnica de anestesia venosa total com infusão alvo controlada (IAC), explicitando conceitos fundamentais ao entendimento do tema , como a divisão teórica do corpo humano em três compartimentos hipotéticos, as fases de distribuição, redistribuição e eliminação dos modelos farmacocinéticos, a meia vida contexto dependente, e a diferença entre infusão anestésica em bolus e infusão continua.

ABSTRACT

This article proposes a review of the subject intravenous anesthesia, an anesthetic technique widespread for several years, and mentions the main pharmacokinetic modeling in anesthesia and total intravenous anesthesia with target controlled infusion (TCI), explaining the fundamental concepts understanding of the subject, as the theoretic division of the human body into three compartments hypothetical, phases distribution, redistribution and elimination of pharmacokinetic models, half life context dependent, and the difference between anesthetic bolus infusion and continuous infusion.
