TDAH: Nível de Conhecimento e Intervenção em Escolas do Município de Floresta Azul, Bahia / ADHD: Level of Knowledge and Intervention in the Schools of Thecity of Floresta Azul, Bahia

RESUMO

O Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) é uma alteração do comportamento que impossibilita o indivíduo de permanecer quieto e executar determinadas atividades diárias, assim como dificuldades em manter a atenção. Objetiva-se com este estudo verificar como os professores lidam com alunos que apresentam comportamentos/sintomas relacionados ao TDAH, como também as estratégias utilizadas no sentido de minimizar seus impactos em níveis individual e coletivo. Para tanto, realizou-se uma revisão bibliográfica seguida da elaboração de um questionário, aplicado com os representantes da amostra. Percebeu-se que um número razoável dos participantes apresenta um conhecimento significativo sobre o TDAH e uma parcela expressiva considera que a maioria dos alunos apresenta sintomas relacionados ao transtorno. No entanto, os professores asseguram que trabalham de modo equivalente com alunos com possíveis sintomas e aqueles com ausência de sintomas.

ABSTRACT

Disorder Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a change in behavior that prevents an individual from standing still and perform certain daily activities, as well as difficulties in maintaining attention. Objective with this study to see how teachers deal with students who exhibit behaviors or symptoms related to ADHD, as well as the strategies used to minimize their impacts at the individual and collective. To this end, we carried out a literature review followed by the development of a questionnaire answered with representatives of the sample. It was felt that a reasonable number of participants has a significant knowledge about ADHD and a significant portion considers that most students have symptoms related to the disorder. However, the teachers ensure that work equivalent with students with possible symptoms and those with no symptoms.
