Interfaces entre a psicologia sócio-histórica e a educação popular com adolescentes / Interfaces between the socio historic psychology and teenagers popular education

RESUMO

Este artigo tem como objetivo ampliar os conhecimentos produzidos acerca da prática em educação popular (EP) com adolescentes a partir da análise dos sentidos de um educador popular sobre sua atuação com adolescentes de classe baixa. A orientação epistemológica e metodológica adotada foi a da Psicologia Sócio-Histórica. A análise demonstrou que os sentidos constituídos pelo educador popular acerca de sua prática são de que ela pretende ser um meio de desvelamento e execução da contra-hegemonia, de emancipação do jovem e, sobretudo, um movimento que constitua uma práxis transformadora contribuindo para a construção de um mundo mais justo e solidário. Essas análises também me convidaram a refletir sobre aspectos em que a educação popular e psicologia podem colaborar entre si. Espero que este artigo seja útil aos profissionais que atuam, sobretudo no campo da educação com adolescentes

ABSTRACT

This article aims at expanding the existing knowledge regarding the popular education (PE) practices used with lower-class teenagers by analyzing the senses of a popular educator about his/her activities with lower-class teenagers. The epistemological and methodological orientation adopted was the Socio-Historic Psychology. The analysis showed that the senses constituted by the popular educators about their practices are that the popular education is intended as a mean of unveiling and implementing counter-hegemony, emancipation of the young and, above all, it is a movement that constitutes a transformative praxis which contributes to building a more just and united world. These analyzes also invited me to reflect about the ways in which popular education and psychology can work together. I hope this article will be helpful to professionals, especially in the field of teenager education
