Práctica de cuidado de los pacientes que conviven con VIH/SIDA desde la perspectiva de sus valores y creencias / Practice for the care of patients living with HIV / AIDS since the perspective of their values and beliefs

RESUMEN

La investigación propuesta se realiza mediante una investigación de tipo cualitativo porque su interés se basa en comprender las acciones de las personas que conviven con VIH/SIDA, su comportamiento e interacción con su enfermedad y con el entorno, posee un enfoque etnográfico, ya que permite observar y analizar la interacción directa con los participantes en las que se describe las acciones dentro de la interacción social; la muestra fue de 2 informantes, a los cuales se le realizo 3 entrevistas a profundidad y estos fueron captados en el HUEM mediante el tipo de muestreo bola de nieve. Se tuvo en cuente la teoría de Leninger y para el análisis de los datos se utilizo como referencia el método de James P. Sprandley. En el estudio se encontraron los temas "Evitando las recaídas", "cuidados para prevenir el contagio" y "afrontando la enfermedad" en ellos se encontraron prácticas que reflejan diferentes creencias, mitos y tabúes orientados a garantizar la promoción y prevención de la enfermedad. En conclusión las personas que conviven con VIH/SIDA mantienen ciertas practicas de auto cuidado con el propósito de evitar que su situación clínica empeore y así mismo mantienen cuidados para evitar el contagio de las personas que lo rodean. Dichas prácticas o actitudes que toman frente a su cuidado están influidas por muchos aspectos de su vida, sus valores éticos, sus creencias, sus afectos y su afrontamiento en la enfermedad, también se evidencia la gran importancia que se le atribuye a la vida espiritual.

ABSTRACT

The proposed research is done through a qualitative study because their interest lies in understanding the actions of people living with HIV / AIDS, their behavior and interaction with their disease and the environment, has an ethnographic approach because it allows observe and analyze the direct interaction with participants in the actions described in social interaction, the sample was 2 informants, whom he will make 3-depth interviews and these were captured in the HUEM by the type of snowball sampling. Consideration was given Leninger theory and analysis of data was used as the reference method James P. Sprandley. The study found the topics "Avoiding relapse", "care to prevent the spread" and "tackling the disease" in them were practices that reflect different beliefs, myths and taboos aimed at ensuring the promotion and disease prevention. In conclusion people living with HIV / AIDS maintain some self-care practices in order to avoid worsening their clinical condition and so maintained the same care to prevent the spread of people around him. Such practices and attitudes against taking care are influenced by many aspects of their life, their ethical values, beliefs, emotions and coping in illness, also demonstrates the great importance which is attributed to spiritual life.
