Novas perspectivas para a história do Sistema Personalizado de Ensino: seus fundadores / New perspectives to the History of Personalized System of Instruction: their founders

RESUMO

Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a história do Personalized System of Instruction, o PSI, usando publicações de seus quatro fundadores Carolina Bori, Fred Keller, Gil Sherman e Rodolpho Azzi. Em primeiro lugar, são apresentadas as realizações profissionais destes quatro fundadores antes de se encontrarem pela primeira vez. Depois, as primeiras parcerias de trabalho até o desenvolvimento do sistema, em 1964, na Universidade de Brasília, são exploradas. Os trabalhos individuais que desenvolveram são descritos em seguida, enfatizando as mudanças no sistema básico usado por eles em 1964. Assim, esta pesquisa permite conhecer as contribuições individuais até então pouco exploradas, como diferentes pontos de vista desenvolvidos entre Bori e Keller.(AU)

ABSTRACT

This paper aimed to analyze the history of Personalized System of Instruction, the PSI, using publications of theirits four founders Carolina Bori, Fred Keller, Gil Sherman and Rodolpho Azzi. Firstly, the professional accomplishment of these four founders, prior to their first meeting, will be presented. After, the first working partnership until the development of the system, in 1964, at Universidade deUniversity of Brasilia, will be explored. Then, individual works they developed will be described, emphasizing the changes in the basic system used forby them in 1964. ThusSo, this research allows knowingus to know the individual contributions even now hitherto little explored, as different points of view developed between Bori and Keller.(AU)
