ABSTRACT
During his teachings of the seventies, J. Lacan makes a critical analysis of the Aristotelian concept of psyche, which he considers determining for the biological and psychological theories that have ruled the Western thought. Such notion implies a harmonious adequacy between the subject and its world which the Freudian discovery of the Unconscious radically questions.
