Pesquisa em psicoterapia e psicanálise / Research in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis

RESUMO

No decorrer do último século, as ciências empíricas e a psicanálise não desenvolveram proximidade, mantendo-se como campos à parte do conhecimento científico hegemônico. Atualmente, a comunidade psicanalítica se depara com pressão significativa para aumentar as pesquisas empíricas. A literatura internacional revela várias linhas de investigação do tema, ligadas aos resultados e processo do tratamento. São discorridas as dificuldades e vantagens de pesquisar. Enfatiza-se a necessidade de que o pesquisador em/sobre psicoterapia e psicanálise tenha real conhecimento da clínica e de seu método de trabalho, na intenção de tornar-se um instrumento "calibrado" para apreender os processos mentais conscientes e inconscientes. Enfatiza-se a pesquisa empírica sobre psicoterapia e psicanálise como uma das vertentes de aplicação prática dos construtos teóricos desenvolvidos em sua metapsicologia. Dessa forma, poderá principalmente compreender o que funciona, para o que funciona e como funciona este tipo de intervenção.(AU)

ABSTRACT

During the last century, empirical sciences and psychoanalysis did not develop approach, keeping the field far away of the hegemonic scientific knowledge. Currently, the psychoanalytic community is facing significant pressure to increase empirical research. The international literature reveals several lines of research theme, linked to results and process of treatment. Were listed the difficulties and advantages of realizing research. It's emphasized the need for the researcher to have actual knowledge of the clinic and it's method of work, becoming na instrument "calibrated" to seize the conscious and unconscious mental processes. It is argued that empirical research on psychotherapy and psychoanalysis is one of the aspects of practical application of theoretical constructs developed in it's metapsychology. Thus, it may mainly contribute expanding the knowledge that what works, for what works and how this type of treatment works.(AU)
