Direccionamiento estratégico para la dinamización del sector salud en el departamento del Atlántico / Strategic direction for the dynamization of the health sector in the department of Atlántico

RESUMEN

En la actualidad, el sector salud del departamento del Atlántico atraviesa un momento de renovación y cambios, derivados del movimiento globalizado que viene tocando todos los sectores productivos del país. Lograr el fortalecimiento de las entidades vinculadas al sector salud, es una necesidad imperiosa, dada las grandes exigencias normativas y de control que se manejan hoy día, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Por lo anterior, aspectos organizacionales y ligados directamente con la administración, planificación y diseño de estrategias se hacen indispensables en este tipo de organizaciones, a fin de lograr un nivel competitivo en la prestación de servicios. A continuación, y con la finalidad de contrastar el escenario esperado con el actual, se revisarán diversas teorías referentes al direccionamiento estratégico y cómo este puede contribuir con la reorganización de estas entidades, proyectándolas a un futuro más productivo y enmarcado por la mejora continua.

ABSTRACT

At present, the health sector of the Atlantic department is going through a period of renewal and changes, resulting from the globalized movement that is touching all the productive sectors of the country. Achieving the strengthening of entities related to the health sector, is an imperative necessity, given the great normative and control requirements that are handled today, both nationally and internationally. Due to the above, organizational aspects and directly linked to the administration, planning and design of strategies are indispensable in this type of organizations, in order to achieve a competitive level in the provision of services. Next, and in order to contrast the expected scenario with the current scenario, various theories regarding strategic direction will be reviewed and how it can contribute to the reorganization of these entities, projecting them to a more productive future and framed by continuous improvement.
