OBJETIVO:
Avaliar a percepção dos estudantes e docentes quanto ao Exame Clínico Objetivo Estruturado (OSCE) em um Curso de Graduação em Enfermagem. MATERIAS EMÉTODOS:
Realizou-se um estudo transversal, qualiquantitativo, descritivo e documental. Participaram da pesquisa 52 estudantes submetidos ao OSCE e 22 docentes avaliadores no ano de 2013. Foram aplicados questionários semiestruturados diferentes para docentes e discentes. A análise quantitativa deu-se a partir da distribuição percentual e medidas de tendência central. Os dados qualitativos foram categoriza dos por meio da análise de conteúdo, proposta por Bardin. RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO Constatou-se que o OSCE é uma avaliação importante para a formação do estudante. A logística e avaliação durante o exame foram satisfatórias e aspectos relativos à simulação e realismo necessitam de aprimoramento. CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS Sugere-se maior investimento tecnológico durante a preparação do OSCE, de modo a contribuir com o desenvolvimento de habilidades entre os estudantes.ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:
evaluate the students and professors perception about the OSCE in a Nursing Graduation Course. MATERIALS ANDMETHODS:
It is a cross-sectional study, qualiquantitative, descriptive and documentary. Participated in this survey 52 students submitted to OSCE and 22 professors in 2013. Different semi-structured questionnaires were applied to students as well as professors. The quantitative analysis was given from the percentage distribution and measures of central tendency. Qualitative data were categorized by Content Analysis, proposed by Bardin. RESULTS ANDDISCUSSION:
It was found that OSCE is an important assessment for the student training. Logistics and evaluation during the exam were satisfactory, but aspects related to realism and simulation need improvement. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS It is suggested more technological investment during the preparation of the OSCE, in order to contribute to the development of skills among the students.
