DIVERSIDAD DEL GÉNERO Rhagovelia (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Veliidae) DEL PIEDEMONTE ANDINO-AMAZÓNICO (PUTUMAYO, COLOMBIA) / Diversity of the Genus Rhagovelia (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Veliidae) from Andean-Amazon Piedmont (Putumayo, Colombia)

RESUMEN

RESUMEN El objetivo del trabajo fue determinar la composición, diversidad, abundancia, distribución geográfica y altitudinal de las especies del género Rhagovelia de ecosistemas lóticos de los municipios de Orito, La Hormiga y San Miguel (rango altitudinal 310 a 620 m s.n.m.) del piedemonte Andino-Amazónico. Las muestras fueron colectadas en junio del 2017, a través del uso de redes entomológicas. Como resultado se determinaron seis especies de Rhagovelia, los índices de diversidad mostraron altos valores (índices Shannon-Wiener 1,43, Simpson 3,61 y Margalef 0,76) que indican la diversidad y el alto número de individuos por especie; R. mocoa (38 %) y R. spinosa (31 %) fueron las especies más abundantes. Además se compararon estos resultados con los de la cuenca alta del río Putumayo, municipios Mocoa-Puerto Asis.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this work was to determine the composition, diversity, abundance, and geographic and altitudinal distribution of the species of genus Rhagovelia from lotic ecosystems in the municipalities of Orito, La Hormiga and San Miguel (altitudinal range 310 to 620 m asl) belonging to Andean-Amazon piedmont. Samples were collected in June 2017, using entomological nets. As a result there were determined six species of the genus Rhagovelia, the diversity indices showed high values (Shannon-Wiener 1,43, Simpson 3,61 and Margalef 0,76) that indicate the diversity and high number of individuals for specie; R. mocoa (38 %) and R. spinosa (31 %) were the most abundant species. Additionally the results were compared with the Upper basin of the Putumayo River, Mocoa-Puerto Asis municipalities.
