ABSTRACT
Nursing is a stressful occupation. Taking care of sick people is considered physically and emotionally exhausting. Nurse's life satisfaction is the pleasure she feels within her working environment and family life. The aim of the study is to identify nurse's life satisfaction at three different health settings, via Intensive Care Unit, pediatric setting and medicine wards. A convenient sample of 90 nurses graduated from Higher Institute of Nursing was included in the study. A modified life satisfaction questionnaire scale was used to achieve the objectives. The findings confirm that nurses' life satisfaction was influenced by their job satisfaction at different health settings. There was a direct relationship between nurses' life satisfaction at the ICU and years of experience [r= 0.37]. Moreover, nurses working in IC unit express higher life satisfaction mean scores than nurses in the internal medicine wards
