ABSTRACT
Triterpene and sterol components were isolated from unsaponifiable matter of petroleum ether extract of Kigelia pinnata leaves, N.O. family Bignoniaceae by column chromatography and were characterized by spectral and elemental analysis. These were identified as Lupeol and beta-sitosterol These two components were first time reported from the leaf of this plant
