Treatment of the edentulous mandible using a conventional complete removable denture is a common clinical treatment option. Yet, it can sometimes be a difficult and challenging intervention. In a large number of cases, this therapeutic option does not satisfy the patient's expectations. Patients genera suffer from dentures instability
Through a case report, the aim is to encourage dentists to use mandibular mini implant because retained overdentures can provide an effective treatment modality for edentulous patients and, in particular, those who have resorbed ridges and persistent problems in using conventional mandibular prostheses
Mini dental implants [MDI] are considered to be a good alternative to standard dental implants due to their small diameter, avoidance of additional surgical procedures such as bone augmentation and effective method for retaining overdentures
