Good management of the pre-analytical phase can avoid a majority of errors in medical laboratory. In this study, we made an inventory of pre-analytical non-compliances [NC] in the parasitology-mycology laboratory of Ibn Rochd University Hospital in Casablanca, in order to identify the causes and to propose corrective actions. It's a retrospective study of the pre-analytical NCs recorded in our laboratory between January and August 2016. There were a total of 546 NCs. 62% related to analysis request, 16% to inadequate sample, 15% to delivery conditions and 3% to sample identification. Each NC was systematically registered on the "KALILAB" quality software. After data analysis, corrective actions were immediately proposed. Otherwise, we organized "quality" meetings, in order to propose preventive actions. Thus, we noticed a decline in the rate of analysis request NCsfrom 10% to 5%, and in those related to inadequate sample from 14% to 7%. Other NCs were relatively stable. Pre-analytical phase is complex because of operator's multiplicity. Biologist must ensure active involvement of laboratory staff in the management process, as well as proposing corrective actions, on a larger scale, in collaboration with various partners
