Pancreatic cancer or chronic pancreatisis

ABSTRACT

Malignant transformation of chronic pancreatitis is a rare complication. The differential diagnosis between focal pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer causes a big problem as radiology is already limited in spite of its development. Only histological study can differentiate between them. The objective of this study is to expose this problem through a real experience in the gastro-enterology department of Mohammed VI hospital University Center. To describe the contribution of radiological technique in the field of pancreatic adenocarcinoma and its limit in cases of adenocarcinoma occured on top of chronic pancreatitis, and finally to expose a diagnostical strategy
