Hypodontia and associated conditions like Hereditary Ectodermal Dysplasia [HED] and microdontia markedly influence on physical, functional and psychosocial maturation of the affected individuals. Thorough evaluation, proper counseling and careful treatment planning employing a multidisciplinary approach are keys to a successful, long-term management.
