RESUMO
27 pacientes (P) com MP duplo-sítio atrial foram randomizados em 2 grupos (sobre-estimulação atrial - DAO - ligada (EAO) e desligada). Aos 3 meses(m), alternância do DAO ligado e desligado. Aos 3 e 6(m), avaliação clínica e do MP e qualidade de vida(QOL). Os pacs. com EAO apresentaram ↓(n) de FA semanal; ↓(n) eventos de FA e de hospitalizações e cardioversões; e melhores índices de QOL.

Conclusão:

uma redução na taxa de FA e melhora clínica nos P com EAO. / 27 patients (P) with dual-site atrial (EAO) pacemaker (PM) randomized in 2 groups.
