RESUMO
In physicai activities the human body exerts forces against Lhe floor. In activities such as running and jumping the forces are exerted through the feet. Actually it is known that magnitude and direction studies of these forces, and the manners of their changes in time, supply valuable information about the performance obtained in movement. In this sense force platforms are used, being able to measure the action force exerted on their contact surface and the respective torque, allowing the determination of three orthogonal forces components (Fz, Fy, Fx) and torque around the three orthogonal axes (Mz, My, Mx) simultaneously. However, the force platform utilization depends on its capacity to measure dynamic forces precisely, because the forces applied to the platform are dynamic in nature. So, the determination of the vibration frequency components excited by the movement in study is fundamental in the correct model platform choice or design. According this work presents a methodto assess this determination and demonstrates an example of application in the long jump takeoft movement
