Particularidades da técnica fonoterapêutica de sons hiperagudos: revisão de literatura / Particularities of voice techniques of high-pitched sounds: literature review

RESUMO

Objetivo: descrever achados relacionados à utilização dos sons hiperagudos na prática clínica, àanatomofisiologia de sua produção e seus efeitos no trato vocal, e às indicações e contra-indicaçõesda técnica para os distúrbios e o aperfeiçoamento da voz. Métodos: foi realizada uma revisão críticade literatura, utilizando-se livros, teses, dissertações, monografias, como também material da Internet,onde foram pesquisados artigos publicados pelo LILACS, BIREME, PUBMED e MEDLINE. Resultados:foram encontrados relatos de mudanças significativas no trato vocal durante a produção do somhiperagudo, como o relaxamento do músculo tireoaritenóideo (TA), a contração do músculocricoaritenóideo (CT), equilíbrio da emissão em registro modal, e aumento da resistência vocal, podendoser usado, com efetividade, em casos de disfonia vestibular, disfonia hipercinética, edema de Reinke,entre outros. Conclusão: O conhecimento e a atualização do uso dessa técnica mostrou evidênciaspositivas sobre sua eficácia nas intervenções realizadas pelos profissionais fonoaudiólogos e reforçamo valor e a efetividade do atendimento, permitindo um rendimento máximo e longevidade da voz.

ABSTRACT

Purpose: to carry out a revision of literature, describing found related to the use of the high-pitchedsounds in the clinic practice, to the anatomophysiology of its production and its effect in the vocaltract, and the indications and problems of the technique for the disorder and the perfectioning of thevoice. Methods: it was done a critic review of literature with books, thesis, dessertations, monographsas well as Internet material where were researched papers published by LILACS, BIREME, PUBMEDand MEDLINE. Results: they were found reports of significant changes in the vocal tract during theproduction of the high-pitched sound, as the relaxation of the thyroarytenoid muscle (TA) the contractionof the cricoarytenoid muscle (CT), balance of the emission in modal register, and increase of the vocalresistance, being able to be used, with effectiveness, in cases of ventricular phonation, hyper functionaldysphonia, Reinke’s edema, and others. Conclusion: the knowledge and the modernization of the useof this method showed positive evidences about its effects in the interventions that were done by thespeech and language therapists. They reinforce the value and the efficacy of the attendance allowing amaximum revenue and longevity of the voice.
