Distúrbios de atitudes alimentares e sua relação com a distorção da auto-imagem corporal em atletas de judô do estado do Paraná / Eating atitude disorder and its relation with body self-image distortion in judo athletes from the state of Parana

RESUMO
O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a ocorrência de distúrbios de atitudes alimentares e sua relação com a distorção da auto-imagem corporal em atletas de judô do estado do Paraná. Foram sujeitos 101 atletas, sendo 71 participantes do JOJUPs (42 masculino e 29 feminino) e 30 participantes do JAPs (18 masculino e 12 feminino). Como instrumentos utilizou-se o EAT-26 e o BSQ. Em relação aos distúrbios de atitudes alimentares as judocas-JOJUP´s, apresentaram maior probabilidade de desenvolver distúrbios de attitudes alimentares. Com relação à distorção na imagem corporal, as judocas-JOJUP´s apresentaram pontuação mais elevada sendo sete casos de distorção leve, seis casos de distorção moderada e três de grau grave. Ocorreram diferenças estatisticamente significativas tanto para a presença de distúrbios de atitudes alimentares quanto na distorção de auto-imagem corporal entre o gênero. Foram evidenciadas correlações estatisticamente significativas entre distúrbios de atitudes alimentares e distorção de auto-imagem na categoria JOJUPs masculino e quando os judocas foram agrupados independente da categoria ou gênero.
ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to investigate the occurrence of eating attitude disorder and its relation to the body self-image distortion in judo athletes from Paraná state. 101 athletes, being 71 participants of JOJUPs (42 male and 29 female) and 30 were participants of JAPs (18 male and 12 female), were subjects of this study. As instruments were used the EAT-26 and the BSQ. In relation to the eating attitude disorders the judo athletes from JOJUP´s showed higher probability to develop eating attitude disturbances. In relation to the body self-image distortion the judo athletes from JOJUPs presented higher scores being seven cases of light distortion, six cases of moderate distortion and three were serious level. There were statistically significant differences for the presence of eating attitude disorder as for body self-image distortion between genders. Were noticed statistically significant correlation between eating attitude disorder and body self-image distortion in the JOJUPs male category and when the judo athletes were grouped independently from the category or gender.
