Trabalho docente rural: dores e prazeres do ofício / Rural teacher: pains and pleasures of the job

RESUMO

O presente trabalho objetiva analisar a realidade laboral dos docentes do meio rural de algumas comunidades de Sta Teresa e São Roque (Espírito Santo) a partir da compreensão das estratégias utilizadas por eles para lidar com as adversidades e alegrias do cotidiano; cartografar as dificuldades por que passam tais docentes e identificar os mecanismos de defesa/enfrentamento que os docentes utilizam no dia a dia da escola. Através de entrevistas e observações feitas com dez docentes, constatou-se momentos de dor vivenciados pelos mesmos, devido principalmente à sobrecarga de trabalho e à dificuldade no enfrentamento dessas adversidades, mas também momentos de prazer quando o docente é reconhecido pela comunidade.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this study is to analyze the working reality of teachers in the rural area of some communities in Santa Teresa and São Roque do Cana㠖 ES having as a starting point the undestanding of the strategies . They use to deal with the adversities and joys of their quotidian. It maps the struggles these docents go through and identifies the defense strategies they use in their scholl life. After interviews and observations ten rural teachers, it was found out moments of pain because the work overload of work and which they do not know how to do manage. However, they have some sort of reward when they are knouwledged by the community.
