A teoria freudiana da sexualidade 100 anos depois (1905-2005) / Freud’s theory of sexuality 100 years later

RESUMO

Este artigo é a transcrição da conferência de abertura do III Congresso Nacional de Psicanálise da UFC, que celebrou o centenário de publicação dos Três ensaios sobre a teoria da sexualidade. O conceito de pulsão, introduzido nessa obra, marcou uma subversão no campo científico ao tratar da sexualidade humana com uma lógica conceitual consistente. Certas noções de Freud, como a disposição neuropática geral, que trouxe nova visão à discussão sobre a oposição entre inato e adquirido, assim como a demolição da barreira entre normal e patológico, são atuais e necessárias, em um momento em que surgem na cultura manifestações como a de um projeto de lei que pretende a cura para homossexualidade.

ABSTRACT

This lecture was given at the opening of the III National Conference of Psychoanalysis of the Federal University of Ceará, held in celebration of the centenary of the publication of Freud's Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality. The concept of drive, introduced in this text, constitutes subversion in the scientific field insofar as it deals with human sexuality in a consistent conceptual logic. Certain notions from Freud, such as general neuropath disposition brought a new outlook onto the debate of the notions of innate and acquired, as well as the blurring of borders between the normal and the pathological. Such subversion still proves to be pressing and necessary in this moment when we see in contemporary culture the emergence of attempts to establish the cure for homosexuality.
