RESUMEN

Hay tres tipos tradicionales de hernias de la ingle, llamadas inguinales indirecta, directa y supravesical externa, todas las cuales emergen por encima de la arcada crural. Un cuarto tipo de hernia de la ingle, denominada crural, emerge por debajo de la arcada crural, a través del anillo del mismo nombre. Por lo que actualmente todas son consideradas hernias de la ingle. ABSTRACT

There are three traditional types of groin hernias, called inguinal indirect, direct, and external supravesical, all of which emerge above the femoral arch. A fourth type of groin hernia, called crural, emerges below the crural arch, through the ring of the same name. So currently all are considered hernias of the groin.
