Manifestações mucocutâneas do pênfigo vulgar / Mucous and skin manifestations of pemphigus vulgaris

RESUMO

O pênfigo vulgar apresenta caracteristicamente as primeiras lesões na mucosa bucal e o acometimento da pele secundariamente. O diagnostico é estabelecido pelo exame clínico, exame anatomopatológico e, por vezes, a imunofluorescência direta. A corticoterapia é o tratamento padrão e deve ser realizado o mais breve possível porque o não tratamento pode levar o paciente a óbito em até 90% dos casos. Este trabalho relata dois casos clínicos de pênfigo vulgar ressaltando os aspectos relativos ao diagnostico, ao tratamento estabelecido, a preservação dos pacientes e uma breve revista da literatura sobre o assunto.

ABSTRACT

Pemphigus vulgaris presents characteristically the first lesions in the oral cavity and involvement of the skin secondarily. The diagnosis is established by the clinician exam, anatomopathologic exam and eventually the direct immunoflourescence. The use of corticosteroid is the main treatment and must be done as soon as possible because the no treatment can lead the patient to death in 90% of the cases. This paper reports two clinical cases of pemphigus vulgaris emphasizing the aspects related to its diagnosis, the established treatment, the patients preservations and a brief review of the literature about the subject.
