Eficácia adaptativa de mulheres com história de abortamento, pacientes de um Ambulatório de Reprodução / Adaptive efficacy of women with history of induced and spontaneous abortion in a Human Reproduction Ambulatory

RESUMO

O objetivo principal desta pesquisa foi investigar a eficácia adaptativa de mulheres que haviam vivenciado abortamento provocado e/ou espontâneo e frequentavam um Ambulatório de Reprodução Humana. O instrumento utilizado foi a entrevista clínica preventiva e a EDAO. Participaram do estudo dez mulheres pacientes de um ambulatório especializado em Reprodução Assistida. Os resultados deste trabalho revelaram que o abortamento teve repercussão importante no mundo interno e externo dessas mulheres. Os abortamentos provocados e espontâneos são relatados com intensa angústia, tristeza e culpa. A experiência do tratamento para engravidar, somada à experiência anterior de abortamento, intensificaram as angústias dessas mulheres. Quanto à eficácia adaptativa, duas pacientes apresentaram o diagnóstico operacionalizado de Adaptação Ineficaz Leve com bom prognóstico; quatro, com diagnóstico de Adaptação Ineficaz Moderada com prognóstico regular; e quatro apresentaram Adaptação Ineficaz Severa e o prognóstico foi reservado. Recomenda-se, em todos os casos, o encaminhamento para avaliação psicológica.

ABSTRACT

The main objective of this research is to investigate the adaptive efficiency of women who experienced induced and spontaneous abortion and attended a Human Reproduction Ambulatory. The instrument used in this study is the clinical preventive interview - EDAO. Ten (10) women who were currently attending the Assisted Human Reproduction Ambulatory participated in the study. The results showed that the abortion has important repercussion in both internal and external world of the participating women. Both induced and spontaneous abortions were related to intense anguish, sadness and guilt. The experience with the pregnancy attempt treatment added to the prior miscarriage experience have intensified the suffering of these women. As for the adaptive efficacy, two patients were diagnosed with Mild Inefficient Adaptation operationalized with a good prognosis and four diagnosed with Moderate Inefficient Adaptation prognosis regular and four showed Severe Inefficient Adaptation and the prognosis was guarded. It is recommended, in all cases, referral for psychological evaluation. It is recommended, in all cases, referral for psychological evaluation.
