ABSTRACT
Aortic coarctation is an infrequent vascular malformation that causes arterial hypertension. Some signs have been described in the physical examination. They strongly suggest the diagnosis, nevertheless it is not easy to identify these findings in all patients, and is in these cases where radiologic studies suggest and confirm the diagnosis. In this article we present the case of a patient with aortic coarctation and we correlate the radiographic, angiographic-spiral CT and renal Dopplerfindings.
