Proposta de um plano de cuidados para crianças autistas / Proposal of a care plan for autistic children

RESUMO

O presente estudo objetivou a formulação de um plano de cuidados para a criança autista. A partir de um estudo qualitativo, enfermeiros de diversas instituições, que já trabalharam com crianças autistas, responderam a uma entrevista semiestruturada individual, por meio da qual se obtiveram as seguintes informações como os enfermeiros veem seu papel diante da criança autista e da família; a forma de obtenção do conhecimento necessário para se trabalhar com esse tipo de criança e o entendimento que eles têm sobre o autismo. Com base nos dados coletados e na revisão de literatura, elaborou-se um plano de cuidados para a criança autista.

ABSTRACT

The present study intended a formulation of a care plan for the autistic children. Based on a qualitative study, nurses from different institutions, who have already worked with autistic children, answered an individual semi-estructured interview, through which the following information was obtained how the nurses see their role in relation to autistic child and his/her family; the way of obtaining necessary knowledge to work with this kind of child and the understanding that they have about the autism. Based on the collected data and the literature review, a care plan for the autistic children was elaborated.
