RESUMEN

Desde el punto de vista sintomatológico, se han descrito numerosos hallazgos neurológicos asociados a lesiones, isquemias que corresponden a un deterioro cognitivo no favorable a la edad de los pacientes estudiados en diferentes investigaciones. Se ha tornado una premisa mundial el enfoque actual neuropsiquiátrico y el uso diagnóstico y terapéutico de herramientas neuropsiquiátricas disponibles en la actualidad, teniéndose consideración de innovadores conceptos como la validez ecológica de tareas, test, y subtest neuropsicológicos. Es por ello que se pretende compartir una revisión bibliográfica desde esta óptica, para identificar las probables lesiones que sean causa de este polémico y reciente objeto de estudio el síndrome disejecutivo, o recientemente denominado “disejecutividad”.
