Caracterização microestrutural de superfícies tratadas de implantes de titânio / Microstructure characterization of surface treated titanium implant

RESUMO

Neste trabalho é apresentado o estudo da caracterização microestrutural de superfícies tratadas de implantes dentários de titânio. Nos últimos anos, estudos sobre a osteointegração têm demonstrado a grande influência da superfície do implante neste processo. Assim várias soluções têm sido propostas como banhos ácidos e texturização a laser. O objetivo principal deste trabalho é avaliar por meio de microscopia eletrônica de varredura (MEV) as características da superfície de 4 diferentes tratamentos ataque ácido, texturização a laser com 2 fluências e recobrimento por hidroxipatita. Os resultados obtidos mostram a importância da caracterização das superfícies tratadas por diferentes tipos de tratamentos e as principais características microestruturais.

ABSTRACT

This work presents the study of microstructural characterization of treated surfaces of titanium dental implants. In recent years, studies on the osseointegration have shown the great influence of the implant surface in this process. Thus various solutions have been proposed as acid baths and laser texturing. The main objective is to evaluate by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) the surface characteristics of four different treatments etching, texturing the two laser fluences and for covering hidroxipatita. The results show the importance of the characterization of surfaces treated by different types of treatments and the main microstructural characteristics.
