Aspectos neuropsiquiátricos en la enfermedad de Huntington: Neuropsychiatric Aspects of Huntington's Disease

RESUMEN

Se presenta el caso de un paciente joven con trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo asociado dentro de una gama de sintomatología psiquiátrica como primera manifestación de la enfermedad de Huntington. Se describen los aspectos neuropsiquiátricos que se presentan en esta enfermedad y el enfoque terapéutico.

ABSTRACT

This is a young patient who has an obsessive-compulsive disorder associated with an assortment of psychiatry symptomatology as a first manifestation of Huntington's disease. The author describes some of the neuropsychiatric aspects present as well as treatment for this disease.
