ABSTRACT
Objective:
to present two cases of migration retrograde catheter. Description two children with a history of hydrocephalus treated with DVP, which were presented to the outpatient clinic with symptoms of valvular dysfunction and palpable tumor at occipital level and another at the neck. Intervention we performed scanning and repositioning of the distal catheter in the peritoneum.Conclusion:
the diagnosis was achieved by probing the integrity of the drainage system and confirmed by radiographs of the shunt system.
