El quién es del paciente: un enfoque antropológico / The who is the patient: an anthropological approach

RESUMEN

El ejercicio médico desde la perspectiva hahnemanniana se enfoca en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de la persona, y no en el de la enfermedad. En este sentido, el abordaje homeopático puede calificarse como antropológico porque se dedica a la atención del ser humano de manera integral. Esto significa que desde la elaboración de la historia clínica, el médico homeópata contemplará no sólo los síntomas, sino los detalles finos en la biografía del paciente, sus relaciones familiares, su desempeño laboral, su integración en la comunidad, y sus gustos, temores y aficiones, entre otros aspectos, a fin de revelar lo que el doctor Proceso Sánchez Ortega denominada el Quién Es deI paciente. En este trabajo se presente la descripción de un caso clínico representativo en la consulta homeopática, que inicialmente fue tratado mediante un enfoque organicista, basado exclusivamente en la identificación de las manifestaciones de la enfermedad, y que por tanto fue objeto de falsas curaciones que no atendieron las causas de fondo que ocasionaban su padecer. Se describe también su respuesta favorable al tratamiento homeopático y su seguimiento, resaltando con ello la importancia de que los conceptos de salud y enfermedad se amplíen y, ante todo, de que en la práctica contemplen a la naturaleza humana en su totalidad, pues sólo así es posible restablecer el estado de equilibrio u homeostasis que caracteriza a la salud.

ABSTRACT

In the medical practice from the hahnemannian perspective the diagnosis and the treatment is based on the person and not in the sickness. In this sense the homeopathic approach of the patient could be considered as anthropologic because the attention is focused on the human being in an integral way. From the moment of obtaining the clinical record, the homeopath considers not just the clinical symptoms but looks for fine details in his biography, his family relations, his labor performance, his integration to the community and his fears and whims among other aspects in order to reveal what Dr. Proceso Sánchez Ortega called the Who Is of the patient. In this article a representative clinical case of an homeopathic approach is presented in which an organicist approach was made, focused exclusively in the identification of the physical symptoms and the organic disease and because of that was victim of false recovery, which not attended the fundamental causes of disease that! were causing his suffering. If is described also his favorable response to a correct homeopathic treatment and his further follow up, bringingin ouf lhe importance Ihal the health and sicknes have to be broaden in orther to abarcar the human nature in its wholness because just in this way its is posible to recover lo total equilibrium needed for the complete sale of health.
