ABSTRACT
Aspergilloma is a fungal mass found in cavities of the respiratory system which can be associated to dental treatment. A female patient presented with persistent chronic sinusitis non-responsive to antibiotic therapy after placement of four zygomatic implants. After CBCT scanning, a buco-sinusal communication was evident at one of the zygoma implants with suggestive diagnosis of Aspergillosis. This article illustrates the clinical steps for implant and aspergilloma removal. Also, a discussion is highlightened on this pathology at the maxillary sinus and predisposing factors along with dental treatment, especially for zygomatic dental implants
