Ser alguém na vida: uma análise institucional do discurso de estudantes do litoral paranaense / Be someone in life: an institutional analysis of students'discourse of the Paraná coast

RESUMO

Referenciado na Análise Institucional do Discurso, o estudo investigou os sentidos atribuídos ao "ser alguém na vida" no discurso de estudantes do ensino médio de uma escola pública do litoral paranaense. Realizaram-se entrevistas, cuja análise buscou delinear os modos de produção de subjetividade, atentando-se à maneira pela qual as falas se organizavam e às relações que estabeleciam com outros discursos. Evidenciou-se uma configuração do "ser alguém na vida" enunciada como transposição/legitimação das expectativas familiares e docentes, num dizer de si constituído em oposição aos que "não querem nada com nada" (lugar em geral atribuído a muitos jovens do litoral). Ao mesmo tempo, pôde-se identificar certa resistência na ordem dos discursos instituídos ao assumirem um posicionamento pessoal em seu querer e ao relativizarem lugares e práticas, alguns estudantes não deixaram de sinalizar o desejo de serem escutados naquilo que suas vozes têm a dizer.

ABSTRACT

Given the Institutional Discourse Analysis as reference, this study investigates the attributed meanings of "to be somebody" in the discourse of high school students in a public institution at the coast of Parana. Interviews were conducted, which analysis sought to outline the modes of production of subjectivity, paying attention to the manner in which the speeches were organized and the relationships established with other discourses. It was evident the configuration of "being someone in life" enunciated as transposition/legitimation of families and teachers expectations, in a self-made saying as opposed to those "who want nothing to do with anything" (place usually assigned to many young people from the coast). At the same time, we could identify some resistance on the order of speeches set by taking a personal position in their will and by relativizing places and practices, some students did not fail to signal the desire to be listened to what their voices have to say.
