Sintoma da criança, atualização do processo constitutivo parental? / Child's symptom, an update on parental constitution?

RESUMO

A psicanálise com crianças discute, desde os seus primórdios, o estatuto dos pais no atendimento clínico do filho. A influência que exercem na constituição psíquica do filho é evidente e por muito tempo questionou-se, dentro das diferentes perspectivas da psicanálise, a necessidade de se escutar o que os pais têm a dizer a respeito da sintomatologia apresentada pelo filho. Neste artigo fazemos uma discussão teórica a respeito do que o sintoma do filho aciona e atualiza do processo constitutivo parental. Neste aspecto aborda a possibilidade de que alguns sintomas da criança funcionem como estruturante psíquico dos pais. Pretende-se, com isso, situar o sofrimento dos pais frente à demanda de atendimento do filho e frente à sintomatologia apresentada por ele.

ABSTRACT

Psychoanalysis with children, since the beginning, discusses the parent's importance in their child's treatment. The influence they exercise in the child's psychic constitution is evident and for a long time it has been questioned, between psychoanalysis' different pers pectives, about the need to study what the parents have to say regarding the symptomatolo gy the child presents. In this article we make a theoretical discussion about what the child's symptom activates and updates in the parents' constitutive process. In this sense, the article addresses the possibility that some of the child's symptoms become a structuring aspect of the parents' psyche. It intends, with this, to situate the parents' suffering in the face of the demand for care of the child, and in the face of the child's symptomatology.
