Jogos da Cultura Popular no Brasil e Uruguai: Um Estudo de Casos na Educação Física Escolar / Popular Culture Games in Brazil and Uruguay: A Study from an Action-Research Proposal in Physical Education at School

RESUMO

O objetivo do estudo foi analisar e comparar as manifestações dos jogos da cultura popular e seu intercâmbio entre turmas de dois países, na Educação Física escolar. A proposta metodológica se fundamentou no estudo de caso. Os resultados evidenciaram que as brincadeiras tradicionais são estímulo para as crianças construir e compartilhar sua aprendizagem; em alguns contextos estão sofrendo certo esquecimento/desconhecimento e estão fortemente influenciadas pelas diferenças de gênero. Sugere-se que a EF escolar, no Brasil e no Uruguai, explore as possibilidades de seu ensino, problematizando estes aspectos, para não omitir seu conhecimento na construção da cultura corporal de movimento das crianças.

ABSTRACT

The aim of the study was to analyze and compare the popular culture games expressions and its interchange between groups of two different countries, in Physical Education at school. The methodology was based on the case study research. The results showed that the popular games are incentive for children build and share its learning; in some contexts are suffering certain forgetfulness/ignorance and are strongly influenced by the gender differences. It is suggested that PE at school, in Brazil and Uruguay, explore the possibilities of it teaching, discussing these aspects, for not omitting its knowledge in the children corporal movement culture construction.
